This poem is a very heartfelt one in that we all had faced those things that could instantly take our lives from us too during our year in Vietnam Jackie, some day we too will make that journey ourselves too only ours will be different from theirs as we had that chance to become old men and to enjoy life in peace time yet their lives were taken from them at such a young age. Well stated in your own poem here Jackie.
