Subject: Roanoke Min Reunion Update

Note to all those attending the first mini reunion in Roanoke Virginia in August .
Friday night after evryone arrives we will meet in the Lobby about 7PM and head out for dinner at one of the local restaurants.
Saturday upon getting up and having Breakfast from the extensive hot and cold menu they have we will leave between 0930 and 1000 hrs to go to the National DDay memorial site for a prearanged tour.
After the tour we will go to the Peaks of Otter Lodge for Lunch. (The lodge is located on the Blue Ridge Parkway overlooking a scenic lake and of course the mountains.) We will then travel back along the Blue Ridge Parkway stopping at several overlook vistas where you can take pictures etc of the beauty of the area.
We will head to Mill Mountain which overlooks the Roanoke Valley and from there you can have people see you on their computers as there is a Web Camera set up on the overlook so bring your cell phones and give your friends and family a call back home>
If we have time we can stop in the Old section of Roanoke where it has been restored with a Farmers market many outside restaurants etc.
Saturday night we will have a get together for just relaxing in the Hospitality room at the hotel and we can order up Pizzas etc and just hang out and talk . If anyone has pictures or slides etc. they want to bring for the group to see or if someone wishes to give a presentation that will be great.
We may still have someone I know that may be willing to come and give us a presentation if I can twist the arm more.

Note- This reunion will only be attended by VSPA members and their families except for the speaker who I may have comming- The two people I have in mind are both retired USAF Colonels that flew in Vietnam the years many of us were there.

Looking forward to this reunion and meeting everyone.
