Yes, Sam, the wife and I are involved with the Pease Greeters. The shirt that was mentioned is a sqeatshirt signed by the Greeters and given to the troop Commander. This started after reps from the Greeters were invited to the White House to meet President Bush last year. The is Dinkin Donuts and coffee for all the flights and homade cookies, the ones returning are offered a NASCAR t-shirt from the trach in NH and stuffed animals to take to their loved ones. It is a joy and pleasure to be there for the troops passing thru. On June 7th, Paul Shave from NM was here and joined the wife and I greeting the troops. For more accurate information on flight times there is a Hotline (603-766-0502) that many check before leaving home in case there was a time change, which happens. There is also a care package program sponsored by the Greeters and send care packages to the troops and we try to send what they ask for and more. Bud Owens, Service Officer.
