Subject: Macedonian Suprise for Pease Greeters

Foreign Troops from afar mark the 300th flight welcomed at Pease. I was a suprise for the Greeters on Monday, Nov 2 to greet the troops deplaning. The were from the Madedonian Army headed for Ft Polk, La to train with the Vermont National Gurad prior to deployment to Afganastian.
It was very interesting trying to communicate with thse troops who spoke very little english. Major Mark Tasler of the National Guard Bureau in DC was accompaning the group. The Greeters provided the same greeting for these troops as if they were our own. Thought you would be interested.
