Jackie, try taking a little nip before bedtime, can't hurt ya. Wasn't that book fantastic, couldn't put it down. Probably the best read on history of WWII I've read, factual and concise. How proud and amazed that American 18-20 yr old marines had the courage as kids to press on against fanatics that wouldn't quit until killed. With this disgusting Presidential election and the trends of our nations society, I wonder, isn't this all a direct disrespect of those young men who gave so much for future generations. Books like this should be required reading in schools. We have to know our history to preserve our future. May be too late, sometimes I look at the human race as a complete failed experiment, we will do ourselves in eventually.
