Subject: In Memory of...

I was going through some of my papers today and found an obituary that Roy Clark sent me last year of our Top Cop at Pleiku. William "Bill" Welch (April 14, 1931-May 2, 2015) was with the 633rd SPS 67-68. He was responsible for much of the security planning and response during the 68 TET. Bill was highly respected by the troops even though he hardly ever smiled at you. He was also a veteran of the Korean War. Bill was highly decorated with three Bronze Stars and two Purple Hearts. I thought I would share a little about Bill with all of you. We Take Care of Our Own.
