Dear Sir: You don't know but I am asking for your help. I served in the USAF from 1964-1968. I served at Takhli RTAFB, Thailand from 1967-1968. I have filed a claim and been denied for disabilities ( prostate cancer, EDD and Daibetes II ) due to what I believe was exposure to agent orange herbicide used on the base. The VA is asking for proof that I served on the perimeter as an augmentee security guard. In my original claim, I sent a testimonial and a "buddy letter" from a fellow Airman who served with me. My military records do not show that evidence. I know of no other way to substantiate my duty as an augmentee and therefore I am asking for you help and/or guidance of what my options are.
