Excellent poem Jackie, says it all about the reality that we all lived over there and also ever since we returned home to chase and capture that elusive peace we all thought we would have upon our return to this land of the free and the brave. Yet peace is a rarity so elusive and damn hard to find again in our own lives whether it was 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 years that has passed by us all, many of us have never truly had that peace and innocence that we had known here
so many years ago when we were so young and healthy. You always tell it like it was, always has been since those days and likely will be until our dying day. Terry Sasek BT 68-69 LM#687
