Hey Steve, you want to move to my neighborhood? I do know how you feel. It does seem different this year. Unfortunately, my city, Fontana allows "Safe and Sane" fireworks, but 99.9% of what goes off would have to be considered near military grade munitions. The first year we lived here (a new housing development) my wife and I went out to walk up and down our street and half way, the smoke was so dense, I started having flashbacks. They have been setting off heavy-duty mortars and rockets here for the last week.

Aside from my own memories and flashbacks, we now have a rescue dog that we have to medicate and isolate to keep her calm. My other real concern is the drought and all the dry vegetation in the hills behind our neighborhood. Just waiting for it to go up in flames.
