Hello to all.

The UPDATED VSPA Reunion Flyer and the Reunion Registration Forms have been posted on the VSPA Group page in Facebook. They will also be posted on the VSPA web site as soon as Don Poss can post them.

A text version of the Updated Reunion Flyer is posted below. For technical reasons, the registration forms cannot be posted on this bulletin board.

22nd Annual Reunion
Tampa, Florida – October 5-9, 2016
MacDill AFB, Florida

The VSPA reunion will be held at the Holiday Inn Tampa Westshore Airport, 700 N. Westshore Blvd. Tampa, Florida, phone 1-813-289-8200. The contract room rate is $106 per night plus tax. The rate is good for three days before and three days after the reunion. Rooms include a mini-refrigerator. All rooms are non-smoking. The airport is one mile from the hotel. The hotel provides a free shuttle. A full breakfast buffet will be available at a reduced rate of $10 each day except Friday, the day that we visit MacDill AFB. There will be a FREE BREAKFAST BUFFET ON FRIDAY MORNING in order to facilitate our timely visit to the base. The Westshore Market is right out the front door. Tampa's best shopping and entertainment district is well within the complimentary shuttle transportation zone of three miles; most are within walking distance. You can enjoy either International Plaza or Westshore Plaza for all of your shopping needs.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS: Call 1-813-289-8200, ask for Reservations and refer to our Group: Vietnam Security Police Association - group code VSP.

If you encounter any difficulty with hotel reservations, reserve the room, obtain the confirmation number and contact the Reunion BRAT at 1-360-663-2521. Explain the problem and she will correct it for you. Check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 noon. The room rate is locked in for us, but there will be a deadline of September 21, 2016. After that date, rooms will be space available only.

AIRPORT INFORMATION: Book your flight to “TAMPA International Airport” (airport code: TPA).

REUNION REGISTRATION: The registration fee is $185 per person, the same as last year. Please use the Registration Form and the Security Access Form to register for the reunion.

AGENDA (generally accurate, but is still subject to change due to base operational requirements):

•Reception dinner buffet, Wednesday evening, October 5th

•Thursday, October 6th: Free day for shopping and local tours. Evening open.

•Friday, October 7th: MacDill AFB 6th SFS Demos, briefing and BBQ with the troops. Evening open.

•VSPA Business Meeting, Saturday morning, October 8th (afternoon open)

•VSPA Sisterhood gathering of wives and companions, Saturday morning, October 8th (afternoon open)

•Banquet dinner with guest speaker, awards and raffle, Saturday evening, October 8th

•Memorial service – reading of the names, Sunday morning, October 9th

•Hospitality Suite stocked with snacks & beverages will be open as much as possible.

•VSPA BX Store will be open as much as possible.
