RETURNED HOME FROM THE REUNION AND MONDAY NIGHT WE HAD TO FLIGHTS GOING OVER. THE 2ND FLIGHT WAS AIR FORCE AND THE 823RD (SAFESIDE) WAS PART OF THE GROUP. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WAS OVERJOYED BECAUSE WE HAVE NEVER HAD A SAFESIDE SQUADRON PASS THRU PEASE. ALSO, IT WAS GREAT BECAUSE I PRESENTED MY WIFE, BETTE, WITH THE AWARD FROM THE SISTERHOOD. I PRESENTED CHALLANGE COINS TO SOME OF THE YOUNGER AIRMEN AND ALSO TO THE CHIEF AND THE COMMANDER. THE COMMANDER INDICATED THERE WAS A CEREMONY SCHEDULED FOR MOODY IN APRIL 2017. GAVE HIM MY CONTACT INFO AND HE WILL CONFIRM. JERRY, IF YOU LEARN DIFFFERENT PLEASE LET ME KNOW. ALSO, LOST YOU E-MAIL. BUD OWENS, SERVICE OFFICER, VSPA.
