Hi there Brother,
Oh yes I was there and remember clearly. I was on day shift
law enforcement that day and had very much planned to attend
bbq that afternoon after completion of my shift but for some reason like one I liked my duty as sec policeman and two it does help time pass quicker getting me closer to getting me home, that when my relief showed up for his swing
shift (I believe his name was sgt Crump) I told him that I'd
take his shift. I then checked in with flt chief and advised him of change in personnel which he approved and then went on with base patrol duty. Couple hours later I got the call to head up to the incident. Not a good scene.
One of a couple few times I know the Lord was watching over me. Thank you Lord!
