Alan served at Ubon RTAFB, Thailand from 70 to 72. He attended reunions with his wife, Ellen, whenever his health would allow. He has been in the fight against Agent Orange related cancer for many many years.

Alan and Ellen are two of the nicest people to ever attend our reunions. They were friends to everyone and always welcomed new members with open arms. I will miss Alan dearly and am so thankful that I knew him so that I can think of his smile and the stories he told of his dogs and his years in Thailand. Alan returned to Thailand in 2006 and wrote about his trip. Use the following link to read his story that we published in Guardmount in 2008 (see page 34):

Lise and I send our love to Ellen with very fond memories of Alan.
