Subject: Vietnam Wall Wash

If you live in/near or will be traveling to Washington, DC, on Aug 26th, you are invited and encouraged to join me to wash the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial (The Wall).

We will meet at 0630 by the Flag Pole (at the Three Servicemen Statue), but you might want to come a bit early to "socialize" and swap a few war stories. I promise you will be finished by 0800, so you can continue your day.

Unit Representatives are encouraged to plan to make this, or future washes, a group event. The Nha Trang Gang and Safeside have already participated as a group. It may be late to assemble your group this time but in 2018, we will again wash in the Spring and late summer (usually in Apr/May and again in Aug/Sep).

Gentlemen, this is one of the most humbling and rewarding events you will ever participate in.

Again, it will be at 0630, Saturday, Aug 26th. Free parking on Constitution Ave (park facing East, towards the Capitol, at 21st Street) or on Henry Bacon Drive, if coming from Arlington/Memorial Bridge).
