Subject: Sobriety and the Reunion in San Antone

We are just a day less than a month away from Our reunion in San Antone . I am sorry, that personally, I won't be able to attend this year. I will be in the throws of moving from LA to Asheville NC . I know many of you are looking forward to Our Annual and Biggest Event of the year. For those of you attending your first Reunion or for those who have attended many reunions in the past, I just want everyone who is attending to know that if you have any sobriety concerns because of open bars and hospitality suites not to worry . We have had in VSPA for the past eleven years the "We take Care of Our Own " Group of Friends of Bill W. We have several members of the group with long term sobriety and we will be holding meetings in the Hotel during the course of the Reunion as well as attending meetings in the San Antonio Area. If you are new to Sobriety or if you've been sober for some time , you can take comfort in knowing that you have Sober VSPA Brothers who'll have your back . My experience is that you can attend Our Reunion and meet new friends as well as old ones and stay sober and have a great time .I will be making a later posting in a couple of weeks with contact information of our Sober Brothers who you can get in touch with at the reunion . Even though I won't be in San Antonio this year please don't hesitate to contact me anytime if you need a friendly sober ear . My phone # is (818) 749-1749 .My email is :johnpaul1845@gmail.com . Any time day or night ,I'm available .
All the Best and have a Great Reunion,
John Paul, LM396,Bien Hoa--Pleiku 65'-66'
