Gary, thank you for your very kind and generous words here on my poems and my poetry site as well. I'd like to mention that I had some very good and helpful advice when I first started my site around 2003 from some of our excellent poets in our group like Jackie Kays, Jack Smith, Howard Yates who all had helped guide me on the in's & out's of writing of our times served in Vietnam, plus I had met a private psychologist who was meeting with me about things that were still tormenting me from Nam and that was when I first heard about PTSD and he suggested that I start to keep a journal and write down on paper those things that would wake me up at night. He suggested that when I did that to write it down as if I was just talking with a friend or relative and just having a conversation telling about what I was feeling when I had these incidents with nightmares, it was because of this and our brothers here that I learned how to express those feeling through poetry. Again I thank all of you for your kind words and hope that in some small way that I am helping my brothers here too.Terry Sasek BT 68-69 LM#687
