Hector,

I am very sorry for the loss of your buddy and fellow security policeman who was shot and killed inside a Kroger Market in Louisville, Kentucky on Wednesday. Thankfully, you have Richard Garcia and Don Ashby as close friends who also served with Maurice.

The suspect pulled a pistol from his waistband and shot former USAF Security Police Sgt Maurice Stallard in the rear of the head and again multiple times as he lay on the floor. The suspect holstered his weapon, walked out of the store, drew his weapon again and killed a 67 year old woman in the parking lot. Maurice, who was shopping with his 12 year old grandson, was executed in front of his grandson.

In brotherhood, I send my best to you, Richard and Don with sincere condolences for your loss.
