Subject: I Am Want

There are times she looks at me
and I want to pull down all the stars and hide,
hoping then that I could shine
the way she does within my eyes.
Then there are kisses in which her lips fall soft
and I would drizzle mine in chocolate sweet
hoping they would taste of wonder
the way hers always do for me.

I am want and she is need.
I simply explode and she completes.
And if a love is stirring somewhere in this,
I might be the one not prepared for it.

There are times her hand takes mine
and I want to lasso the sun
and bring to her such fire
for as we play I chase
a symphony of sighs
so beautiful constructed on trust,
if not dead,
Beethoven would retire.

I am want and she is need.
I simply explode, she forever completes.
And if one of us is lucky its so easy to see,
She is the gift, I but humbly receive.
