I didn't get to be
as old as I am
without learning
a thing or two

Hypocritical waves
reach across the land
Propaganda at an all time high

"Shove this down
with your holy water"
to make the world
even more unstable

You've been blind-sided
taking up false causes
shrouded in Jesus
to deliver right wing gains

Step aside
take a breath
be still
listen to the song
within
that is truth
