I have read all the notices on this site with great interest. I first came across Katherine as a 13 year old and this in turn engendered a great passion for English Medieval History. If Katherine became a film, it would have to be really authentic (ie no American accents), no offence to any Americans, but Hollywood tends to ruin historical films especially ones to do with English history. The costumes would also need to be authentic and as for the appropriate actors, yes Viggio Mortenson would make a good John of Gaunt, and how about Kate Beckinsale or Kiera Knightly as Katherine? I am completely enthralled by this period of history and often visit Lincoln and Katherine's tomb. Let's make that film!
