Perhaps we are mixing up the past present and future. Everything this topic has discussed is in the PAST. A lot of sensibilities have changed since the glory days of the Empire, not just ones on imagined racial superiority.
And dont be so naive, if the British hadnt colonised India and other colonies, then it would have been another European power. Thats the way it was at that stage in world history. Just like when the Romans had their empire. thats the way it was.
Dont mistake the past with the present. Your comment made it seem that modern Britons are all racists.
