Since when did i say the british think they were superior? Its a fact the Kohinoor has been claimed by Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India, who has the rightful claim? As i said the poor bastard who found it who was proberly a slave to one of those eastern nations.
As Lord Croker said its what happened at the time, Britain took it if not us then maybe the dutch, french or whoever, and the fact is every nation that has owned it has stolen it so the British cant be solely blamed.
The comment "rich indian" isnt racist, what if i had said "rich canadian" or "rich nigerian" ? that statement wasnt racist the likely hood is if the british had not taken it, then perhaps a rich indian would own it? or maybe a rich canadian or rich nigerian or rich french man or rich iraqi???? how was that in anyway racist?
And i didnt mean o yeah some rich indian owned it before so yeah we had a right to take it from him, what i meant was if we hadnt taken it, (which at the time we had the power to do so because we owned india sure maybe frowned upon today but at the time was acceptable) then right now some rich indian would own it, that is what i meant so really what would be the difference between a rich indian owning it and a rich brit owning it as the case is today...?
Say if this generic rich indian did exist and owned the kohinoor, this conversation would be exactly the same only instead of "why does the queen have all those stolen jewels" it will be "why does Mr.X have all those stolen jewels"
