Curse to some- Research the colonies that Britian owned, look at the infrastuctures in place today. These countries were thriving in their own rights before empire.

Blessing to others - Good old days when Britian ruled the waves.--Remember this was through Blood sweat and tears of those who were victims of it and their decendants.
