no not really, of course as we all know there are republics within the commonwealth. it simply seeing queen or not someone as a symbolic head. mainly to unify... i see why the americans would feel alittle weird with being in a community with a monarch but did any of you see the americans reactions when the queen visited in 2007 for 400 year old thing. i take it as a good reaction.
