Im 20 something and actual work in a school where i teach history -the British Empire being my favourite subject of course- and to be honsest im not quite sure about what to think of the "Empire" apart from thats it was interesting. We definatley did some pretty nasty things -like (amoung others) the systematic cleansing of the Aboriginal people of Austrailia, the invention of concentration camps and the whole idea of white supremacy. But, then again, at least Imperial Britain was British and proud of it rather than a "correct" dystopia.. :) ok that was very long but im in a philosophical mood.
