The following appeared in the Sun on the 16th...

God bless America. Having demonstrated in the movie U-571 that it was their navy and not ours that captured a German Enigma coding machine and in Pearl Harbor that it was Ben Affleck who saved us from the Nazis and in The Great Escape that it was an American and not a Brit who kept escaping and in Saving Private Ryan that it was they who won D-Day on their own and in A Bridge Too Far we only lost because we were drinking tea, they are now claiming that the only reason we won the Battle of Britian - apart from Ben Afflect - was that our planes were using their petrol. FACT. America lost in Vietnam because we wouldnt help them.

I'd like to hear your comments..
