Perhaps you should consider the view that it hasn't broken up. More diversified, and pulling in different directions (too many cooks - sorry politicians) but the Queen is still the Head of State of let me see, NZ, Australia, Canada, PNG, Solomons, UK, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Bermuda, Samoa, Cook Islands, Antigua and Barbuda, Belize. So much of the civilised world in fact. All my country as well
