Why is the UK still a member of the UN security council? -- British Empire

Why is the UK still a member of the UN security council?

The UK:

1) Can't feed its own people (UK a net importer of foods, US, France and Russia net exporters while China breaks even)

2) Can't make its own ballistic missiles

3) So it has no independent nuclear deterrent

4) Lost a huge chunk of its gold reserves

5) Losing most of its strategic assets/ industries to foreign control

6) The UK is disintegrating

Other than giving the US two vetos, what is the purpose of having the UK in the Security Council?
