No it wouldnt, the North States had about 2/3 of the population of the United States and around 7/8 of the wealth, so it unlike that the Southern States would of industrialized. I suspect that the Confederacy would of lasted anyway, it system of government was very unstable and I think that with in a few years after the war ended you would see states start to break off from it, particularly Texas, and if the moderate border states that in many ways were already starting to turn against slavery went full scale against you could see the Confederacy completely fall apart with in a a decade or two.
