But if we had not left iraq in the first place would this have been a problem? we created the current climate in that country after mesopatamia fell under British un offical empire. Surely we have a moral duty to try to right the situation. I feel the main problems we encounter in that particular country are as a result of the American involvment. America has alienated its self from the rest of the world because of its insular views, where we in this country have years of pratical hands experience to effectly deal with world policing. Also is Britain not known for its sense of fair play? I rencently spoke to a leading indian who comes from a large polictical and military family in india. To my surprise i was informed that a large majority of indians actually wish the British had never left.
