I have just been reading about Wallace in the British Library and have read that he was considered to be a terrorist by the leaders of the time. Britain's stand on terrorists has been the same throughout history. It should be also noted that the Catholic church and Rome still had a major influence at the time. With a modern way of thinking I think That the Scottish people who have a grudge against England. ( I say England and not Britain as Scotland are a part of Britain, a fact that a lot of people forget) should direct their anger at the Catholic Church of the time and not London. It is a historical fact and not a political view.
