Are we talking at any giving time? Because all 2gether the british empire was larger but in certain times the spanish empire was ofcourse much larger say in the 1600's. But the british did have the worlds best navy. and the british had the largest empire ever in 1921 so it depends when you mean, or if u ur talking about all territories, if ur talking say 1825-1950ish the british where much larger, and if ur talking all 2gether again the british empire wins.
