Why is this discussion board constantly centering around the USA?

No I don't. The British Armed Forces performed outstandingly giving the circumstances; they defeated the Americans in most of the battles and inflicted more casualties. I'll say this to any Yank who decides to have a stab at us Brits about the conflict. Additionally, I do not see the Americans as the 'good guys' as they so often like to make out. Greed and individual ambition added greatly to the Rebel cause and this is very well described in Hugh Bicheno's book 'Rebels and Redcoats'. I look back on the war with pride, pride for the Redcoats who were fighting a war they most certainly did not want to fight.

End of story as far as I'm concerned... NEXT!
