Mr. Daneau
Just wanted to let you know where we are on the lost prop and to clear up some mis-communications.
The box was not delivered to my home. The post office left a card for me to go to the post office to get the box, so I'm sure none of my neighbors took the prop. When I discovered the box was empty and talked with the woman at our post office she said there was nothing she could do because there was no insurance on the package. I now know she was wrong and the package was insured for $350.
Since you e-mailed me last on 9/22 I did find out the phone number you gave me for the Canadian post office was for people inside Canada and the number I was supposed to be calling was 1-416-979-8822. However, the e-mail address for the Canadian post office you had in your message was correct, so I have e-mailed them concerning the lost prop. They were quick to e-mail be back and said that they were sending you and I both some documentation to be filled out and returned to them. As soon as they receive both letters they will complete this claim. If they send you the money I would appreciate you sending me a check for $269.99. IF they send me a check for $350 I will return the overage of $80.01 to you.
I do know that you DID indeed originally mail the prop because the shipping label showed a weight of 8.1 kg. I do not know where the prop left the box, but I know it did and this can be verified by the woman at our post office.
I do apologize for all the mis-communications some of which was because it was difficult to understand your French accent and I'm sure you had trouble with my southern English. However, it seems that maybe we are on the way to solving this problem and any help you can be to the Canadian post office (Simon Lalonde, customer servce) will be appreciated.
Thank you-Jeffery
