i have a 1997 searayder 175 mercury motor. I was running it at normal speed. And it started beeping. Then stop for a few minutes then starts over again. continued to keep doing this,over and over.. its 3 beeps or 4...

Dude, I just bought a 1993 searayder, and it was jammin for like 2 hours, and then started beepin too. Then sometimes it would stop at lower speeds...then higher speeds. Anyway, I hope you found out what it was. I'm going to take mine into the yamaha dealer tomorrow. Write me, and I'll let you know what I find out, and just reply to your email with the response.
