Subject: Annie Ruth Turner-Wilson

I am researching my family genealogy. My grandmother's mother, Annie Ruth, passed away when she was just 18 months old. The only thing Grandma was told about her mother was that her name was Annie Ruth Turner. Since my grandmother's death in 2002, we have learned more information about Annie Ruth. She was born in Alabama, in 1905, and moved to Greenville, SC, with her family in 1919. Her parents were Joseph Claiborne (Joe) and Annie (Bryant) Turner. She had 3 sisters-Ellen (Mrs. H.F. Campbell), Lillian (Mrs. William Schlachman),and Ruby (Mrs. J.B. Forest). She also had 4 brothers-Frank M. Turner, Homer B. Turner, Roy R. Turner, and G. Ellis Turner. She married Earl C. Wilson in April of 1922. She gave birth to my grandmother, Velma Ruth Wilson, in September 1923. Annie had an appendicitis attack and passed away on June 19th,1925, at only 20 years old. She was buried in the Brandon Mills/Graceland Cemetery. If you have any info about her or her family, please email me. Thank you.
