Subject: Father's birth place

Hello! I'm new here. I am looking for my father's birth place, and hopefully if I can find him on census records, as a child, I can find parents and brothers and sisters.

name - Jack David Custer
birth - 10 May 1902

I have been told by 'natural' family members that he came from Indiana. Is there any chance that he could be found thru census records index after 1902?

I was adopted in 1942, and he died in 1955, so I never got to know him.

Thank you! Sincerely, Shirley Fitchett, Varina, Ia 50593
