Also looking for info on Brightwell Rather Elder. Have found some evidence showing Elders intermarrying with some Brightwells, but it is too recent to be our BR Elder. Have been unable to tie Brightwell to Littleberry Elder, but have been able to trace Littleberry's movement around GA 1829-1860. He lost some land to the sherriff in Harris Co GA in 1842 for some reason, and bought/sold property there starting in 1835. Do you know of any BR Elder descendents doing the DNA study?
