Subject: Hogan of Georgia and Louisiana

Searching for the father of William Hogan born 1784 (probably in Georgia.) His mother, Tabitha Hogan, was a widow by 1807. They were residents of Washington County Georgia in 1807 when Tabitha Hogan drew land in the 1807 Georgia Land Lottery. In 1811, William Hogan received a passport for himself, his wife (Narcissa Goza), child(Eliza Hogan), and his mother(Tabitha Hogan) to cross the Creek Nation. They migrated to St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana. This part of St. Tammany Prish later became part of Washington Parish and later still became part of Tangipahoa Parish.
