I am attempting to get copies of my uncle's military records so I can get a grave marker for his unmarked grave site. I've tried before unsuccesful because I could not provide his service number. I think I have found it. His legat name was Thomas Jefferson Dickerson Jr. I have found a service number for a Tom J. Dickerson Jr #39749495 listing his residence state as California, Orange County which is where my uncle was living at the time of his death.
I would like to get a copy of his military records so I can confirm his being my uncle.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
J. Dee Dickerson Jr.
