I am looking for surname Stanton. I have been trying to information on my father-in-law history.

From what my father-in-law, who is Willie Edgar Stanton born in Ark. Told me that his grandfather whom as I was told was a Jesse Stanton born in Ireland came to America, had a son name James Stanton who was born in AL. Whom Willie was the son of, would like to find any kin.
Willie Stanton told me that his mother was Indain and father Irish.
Willie Stanton married Ruby Huddleston in ARK.
