I was searching for more information on Arthur McClure and goodled his name and found your posting. According to my records, Arthur is the son of William F. and Elizabeth McClure and a brother to William Jefferson who is the ancestor I'm researching. There is no Indian blood there that I've found so I wonder if it comes through Cate's line. Although my husband says that supposedly his great grandmother was part Indian but I don't think it would connect right and I am not finding anyone that seems to be Indian. I have found the 1900-1930 census records for Arthur's family on ancestry.com if you are interested. I can email them to you if you let me know.
