Subject: George Kimbrough of Gibson County, TN

The George Kimbrough who married Rebecca E. Crockett 2 Feb. 1839 in Gibon Couny, TN evidently died before the 1850s, since Rebecca (as Rebecca E. Kimbro) married secondly James M. Holford/Halford 9 Feb. 1847 in Gibson County, Tennessee. Rebecca and James M. Halford are shown in the 1850 Gibson County, TN census wih 5 children, all [incorrectly] llisted as HALFORDs. In 1860 the couple is in Johnson County, Texas where evidently (based on birth place of their son, William, hey removed ca 1856-7.
