John B. Miller -- Family Tree Brick Walls

John B. Miller

We have hit a brick wall with my husband's 3rd great grandfather and cannot find his parents names.

John B. Miller b. abt. 1772 in Pa.
Lived in Mont. Co. Va. Was in 1850 census with his wife Catherine. Was 78 yrs. old. Died abt. 1856-1857. We have his will and children's names, but cannot find any additional information on his parentage. He left on his will that his son Joseph could pursue a piece of land in Rockingham Va. if he chose to do so. His wife might have been Catherine Danner but we cannot confirm her maiden name. Loads of Miller's in Augusta Co. and Rockinham. Several Millers in the area around 1790's-1850, John/James/Abraham/William/Daniel. We cannot find a link to them either.
