SHEILA: I believe I have knocked down part of your brick wall. As I usually say, SCHOOL IS NOW IN SESSION! If you would like to print this off or write it down, it will be easier.
Enter the website
http://www.familysearch.org (good to keep under favorits)
You should now be at the website for Latter Day Saints.
On the top, beside the word HOME, click on SEARCH
On the left side click CENSUS.
Now, enter only the following information:
CENSUS BOX: click on arrow, click on 1880 United States
Census.
LAST NAME: heath
BIRTHPLACE COUNTRY: click arrow, click United States
STATE: click arrow, click New York
RACE: click arrow, click white
CENSUS STATE: click arrow, click New York
COUNTY: arrow, click BROOME
TOWN: arrow, click CHENANGO
OK Sheila, if you did everything right, you should have
1880 US Census-21
The first one is PERRY HEATH, the son. Click on his name and you will get his INDIVIDUAL RECORD. On the right side, click on HOUSEHOLD. This will give you everyone living in the house.
After you look at this, click the back button and go back to the census record. Go to number 7 for Elwilda Heath.
You will find Sarah J. Heath has remarried to Thomas Rittenburg. If Sarah Conklin was also born in 1820 the age is right.
I believe there is another brother Zenas, same town.
You will not find Milo here. I believe I found him in Florida, working as a laborer in a saw mill. He is 26 in 1880 and not yet married to Sabra Freer. Sabra is still living at home, age 17.
OK Sheila, calm down now. Let me know if you reach 21 Heath's in New York. Then I will let you know how to find Sabra Freer.
