Taylor, Wilmoth -- Family Tree Brick Walls

Subject: Taylor, Wilmoth

I am trying to find the parents of William Jesse Taylor, born abt. 1877 (1874?), in Arkansas. Think his father is Jesse Taylor who traveled to Arkansas with Reubin Wilmoth and his brothers from Texas in wagon train shortly after the Civil War ended. But I am finding it difficult to locate either of them in Census records. Wm. Jesse Taylor married Zella M. Wilmoth and moved to Oklahoma, found census records in Oklahoma for 1910 & 1920. Death certificate does not give dob. Trying to find source to verify family ties with Jesse Taylor. Any help would be truly appreciated. Thanks. lgilkey@intcon.net
