Looking 4 Mills Family of Georgia -- Family Tree Brick Walls

Subject: Looking 4 Mills Family of Georgia

I am trying to find my husbands fathers family they were from Georgia.
James Charles Mills--
Father:Lon or Lonnie Charles Mills born abt. 1900-01 Dawson Ga.
Mother: Lillie Mae Chumbler or Chumbly born abt. 1911 Forsyth GA
James changed his name to James L Mills when he enlisted in the army. His brother also changed his name to John Thomas we don't know if it was a legal change but on James social security paper work it has him listed as James L mills and James Charles Mills born 4-16-1930 but it has on in Pickeens Ga., and Marble Hill Ga. so we don't know for sure His grandfathers names is Thomas or thomp Mills no known dates or who his spouse was any help would be greatly appreciated. James's Brothers and sisters-- Aleen (Payne),Esta (Wilson), Jesse Lee "pete", John Thomas "J.T."all of Georgia an Uncle named George Mills of Canton Ga. a Marge & Lomie,Louise & Truman of Jasper Ga.Thank you in advance Dana Mills
