Newsom or Newsome in Mississippi or South Carolina -- Family Tree Brick Walls

Newsom or Newsome in Mississippi or South Carolina

I am looking for my G.G.Grandpa. Here is all I know about him. He was born in South Carolina, married a woman that was born in Mississippi. They had a son name Apston Apcon Newsom. I don't know of any other children they had. Apston was born in MS and married G. Annie Stroughter from MS. Apston in my G.Grandpa. I know of 7 children that Apston and Annie had. They are: Julius W. (my grandpa), Maggie, Charles Henry, Auther, Roy, Earl, and Luly Mae. Apston was born on Oct.1865 and died in 1956. G.Annie Stroughter was born on Nov. 1873 and died in 1958. Both are bureid in Petal, MS. My dad is James Edward Newsome (his family called him Honey Bunch). If there is anyone out there that can help me, Please e-mail me at GloAngel32@aol.com
I will be a happy person if I can find my G.G.Grandpa or anything else about my family.
