Related topic....our frosh....

Hall and Hill, the apparent survivors from our freshman class, have gotten valuable experience this season.

The jury is out about the level of contribution each can make going forward.

My current impression is that if Hill hits the weight room and works hard, he has decent upside due to his size and wingspan. Daren Rowe was lost as a frosh, but came on very strong during his upperclass years. Call me crazy, but Jack reminds me of Daren, prior to his improvement, of course. Additional stregnth would help Jack exponentially. I think Jack has lots of upside.

Hall does pass well and handle OK, but other areas of his game (scoring, free throws) need lots of improvement. Quickness, or potential lack thereof, remains a questionmark for me. Hope Cindy is right about Brandon!!!!

On to the Quarterfinals, skipping the play in round! :>)

By the end of last season, most were less than enthusiastic about Leon. No one could imagine the monster Bacon became, and no one saw the contribution that the developing Costner has made.
Frosh become sophs.Hall has the handle, passing skills, and court vision ,as well as solid defense. He had the ability to score in high school and am told his free throw shooting was better then.I trust we'll see an upgraded scorer next season.

Sure hope Brandon can step up his free throw shooting and find a way to score at this level next season. If so, it will give the staff much more flexibility at the guard position, especially in end game situations and against pressing, athletic teams like Niagara and Siena.
I agree, it is very hard to project a career's potential, especially of an "unfinished" front line player, based on his frosh year. Arosa, Alex Roberts and Daren Rowe offered no hints as frosh they would develop into all-league type players. I am partiulary hopeful Hill can take a big step forward.
Of the three mentioned (Costner, Hall and Hill) I think Jack has, by far, the most upside.
