As stated above, we are very vulnerable to the zone trap. Our guards can handle but their lack of height and picking up their dribble hurts. We are only successful when Gooding and Orta help out. Gooding can jump stop over anyone and is an especially good passer in those situations. Hogga is also decent in there.

Also fail to understand why we don't zone press more. One of our strengths is our quickness but we immediately let our opponents get into their offensive sets and most of them, even FDU, show a much better offensive flow than we do, once set-up.

Finally, it seemed like we were more successful when we switched defenses in earlier games. Gooding, Orta and at times Jenkins play excellent one on one defense as does Hogga. Leon and Lampley have their moments but their height is often a disadvantage. We are getting hurt more on dribble penetration than outside shooting. Let opponents play the outside shooting game with us. Think we can hold our own. Play more zone, mix it up and throw a little zone press once in a while.

All that said we still do not look that good offensively. A positive is that we are getting the ball into Sowell much better than earlier in the season but the team still does not look in cinque. Frustrating because the talent is obviously there. Think losing and lack of confidence has become a big factor but the Staff obviously has to do some reassessment and go back to the drawing board. What we are doing is not working. Other suggestions?
